There are truly not enough words to express how grateful I am for Emma. She’s absolutely incredible and one of the most talented makeup artists that I have met! Three days before our New Years Eve wedding, my original makeup artist had to cancel and Emma swept in to save the day for me! She is absolutely unflappable and without having had the chance to do a trial, she created three gorgeous looks for myself and my bridesmaids and honestly we could not have been more thrilled! We all collectively agreed that it was really a blessing in disguise as Emma is just the loveliest person to be around and perfectly captured what we had in mind. The airbrushed makeup was not something that any of us had tried before but was totally stunning and didn’t move one bit throughout the whole day/night. I have been to Emma’s Beauty Barn for many years to have my nails and toes done, admiring Emma’s attention to detail, care and as a result of this long lasting and beautiful finishes. Therefore, when it came to deciding on my wedding makeup for myself and my bridesmaids, there was no question, Emma would be the first choice. Starting with a consultation, followed by a makeup trial (which I loved), Emma went above and beyond my expectations. I felt fresh faced, with a beautiful glow, and Emma enhanced my natural features and colours. Every girl wants to feel special on her wedding day, not only did Emma do this on the day, but the trial and afterwards I have a lot of tips to continue my skin treatment and how to make up my face. Emma also did my bridesmaids, her running order on the day was calm, fun and most of all enjoyable. We all felt amazing and from an early start, we kept our look all day. It is an experience I will never forget, and Emma’s knowledge, talent and personality made us all feel like a million dollars.

From the makeup trial to the actual wedding Emma was friendly and professional. My teenage daughters were nervous about having someone do their makeup for my wedding but they both looked amazing. I had comments throughout the day about how beautiful my makeup was and I was over the moon with it. It lasted about 12 hours with no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma to anyone.

The first time I ever had airbrush makeup was with Emma. No other makeup artist had ever used it but honestly it is a game changer!!
It is so lightweight that you can barely feel it on your skin, so a great option if you don’t normally wear makeup but want to for your wedding day or special occasion .
Because it’s light you feel your skin can still breath but it has fantastic flawless coverage that literally stays on all day! Even through tears, sweat and kisses, it does not budge at all. I had so many compliments on how good and natural my makeup looked throughout the day. I felt amazing!
If you’ve never tried it I totally would give this a try as an option as I don’t think you’ll ever look back!! Xx

I first visited Emma to do my makeup for a special event. From the moment I arrived, the experience was special. The ambience & set up was very professional & made comfortable by Emma’s warmth & care. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but Emma took care to ask me what I was wearing & how I was having my hair done, in order to start creating my makeup. She sought my approval on colours, shade & style, as well as what I was normally comfortable wearing. Emma then cleansed & prepped my face & created a look that I was incredibly happy with. I felt beautiful & confident.
I was so impressed with the style & Emma’s professionalism & warmth, that I booked a make up lesson with her.
Once again, she was just lovely & led me through every process with written instructions & guided me through applying my makeup myself. Her advice & knowledge on what I should be wearing & using was so beneficial & I came away with instructions & diagrams specifically for me, as well as the confidence to apply make up I love.
